Cozies that Give

I have designed a line of Cup Cozies for raising awareness for Homelessness which is a big problem in our society today. This cause is near to my heart as a loved one of mine came close to ending up on the streets. There is a wonderful documentary made by Susan Sarandon Storied Streets that explores homelessness across America by telling the stories of those who live it every day.

Part of the proceeds from the sales of these cozies are donated to homeless shelters. I was able to raise $300 for a local homeless shelter Bridges to Home last year that provides food and shelter for homeless during winter months. I am hoping to do the same this year. These cozies are available here if you want to support this cause. You can also follow my journey with this project on Instagram

Pattern testing

I am so behind on blog posting that it is sad :( This year is about to end and I have so much to share. Let me just give you the snippets for this past year to catch up. I started out the year with testing out designs of some very talented designers. Beautiful props I would say, what do you think? Look for these patterns on Ravelry if you would like to try them. I would recommend these for Intermediate knitters. I have linked each pic to its pattern. These are done on smaller needle but they go fast as the finished sizes are so small. :)

And here are some pics of cute models wearing these rompers. I made the tiebacks to match each of these rompers and added crochet trims to give them a finished looks.
